When you clean your house, look around for things that you do not need but you can recycle. For instance, old t-shirts can be used to mop the floor. You may donate it, but it makes a better swab cloth. Similarly, old cotton clothes or other type of t-shirt material clothes can be converted into napkins or kitchen towels.

We all should seriously adapt to recycling. Conservation is a must against using up the resources. Most of the finished products need raw materials. These raw materials come from nature either by cutting down trees or mining the earth. The usage of raw materials leads to deeper problems like deforestation and damaging the environment.

Another top reason why we should recycle is for energy saving purpose. When we do not buy things then we are saving a lot of energy in the form of transportation, making and even selling. By buying stuff endlessly we are creating a need and demand for the product. The key is to control the demand for saving the environment.

The lesser we use products, the lesser raw material is used. It is very simple economics to understand. We also reduce pollution when we do not consume so much.
