How Do Greenhouse Gases Effect Raintree Rainforest ?

One of the prime examples of a rain forest is the Amazon forest. Rain forests are extremely important for the earth’s environment; however, they are fast disappearing. The Amazon is a fine example for study as there are several man made fires there that are leading to deforestation.

There is a direct relation ship between the green house effects and the rain forests. These forests play a large role in regulating the earth’s environment and generating rainfall. While these forests depend on rainfall to survive, they are also responsible for creating it. Rains cool the earth and act as a regulator of hotter climates. By clearing the rain forests we are only digging our grave deeper.

The greenhouse effect is an essential process for survival. However, a hot greenhouse is devastating and human beings should understand that. For example, take a greenhouse in a garden. The sun’s rays pass through the glass and the heat gets trapped inside. This makes ideal circumstances for some plants to grow and survive. That is why people in colder regions use greenhouses to grow some exotic flowers. Similarly, the earth's greenhouse gases create optimum and ideal circumstances for various life forms to survive and grow.

When trees are cut in the rain forest, it adds to the heating up of the environment. Also, when forests are burned, more carbon dioxide is released into the atmosphere. The accumulating carbon due to burning of forests and the lack of rain due to deforestation can add to global warming as a two way effect. The damages are from both the sides of the same coin.
