Car Pollution And The Greenhouse Effect

Global warming has become one of the most discussed topics recently. The greenhouse effect cause global warming which is known to be the biggest threat to humans. The green house effect also causes climate changes and affects the balance of the earth. Car pollution is connected with green house effect.

The greenhouse effect is quite natural for the earth. It cannot survive without it. The Earth needs the greenhouse effect to stay warm. Or else, the earth would just be one cold region and would not be able to sustain any life. Life cannot survive on the planet if it is too cold or too hot.

Under natural circumstances, the earth releases the greenhouse gases like carbon dioxide. This carbon dioxide floats up and helps to keep the earth warm enough to support life. However, pollution due to burning gases like petrol by vehicles can add to the green house gases and increase the heat in the atmosphere.

Car pollution is adding a significant amount of harm, as it releases many greenhouse gases. The number of people who use cars is very high in the United States. All put together, can cause a lot of damage to the natural environment. There are several ways to minimize this damage.

Using hybrid vehicles helps, because they use less gas and the emissions are low. Other preventive measures like using public transport if available; car pooling within the community can help to a great extent. At present, in the United States 8 out of 10 families use two cars instead of one car.

Definition-Of-Enhanced-Greenhouse-Effect      Greenhouse effect is a natural process of the Earth, without which we would all freeze to death. The natural greenhouse effect is a phenomenon that is created by heat energy. It uses the heat from the sun to heat up the gas molecules present in the atmosphere. Sunlight passes through these gases to reach the earth and it also heats up the gases. This can be defined as the natural greenhouse effect. More..
