The various factors have resulted in the rise of sea level in the world. Climatic changes, stress on the ecosystem, imbalance of the equilibrium in nature, extreme and unpredictable weather conditions are among the main factors which cause this undesired effect in the world today. Variable and untimely rainfall, decreased precipitation rates, increase in the average temperature across the globe also results in the rise in the sea level. |
High inflation in the market for staple foods affects the less developed countries as they strive to cope up with the costs of soaring prices. The world economy has been affected in negative manner so the governments are intervening to bring down the prices of dairy products, maize, and bread for the general population.
It has been predicted by the experts that the food supply would reach a precarious state in the near future. Markets may try to adjust to these shortages but the prices would soar as the crop yields and the resources required for productivity would not increase due to the changes in the climate. New technologies and strategies are being adapted to cope up with the volatile conditions in the world’s ecosystem.
Population growth needs to be slowed down to ease the pressures on the agricultural sectors. Unproductive land needs to be made cultivable. Fishing and hunting of endangered species need to be curbed to protect these animals from becoming extinct. The ecological balance should be restored slowly. If people of the world only rely on vegetables for their diet, then more land can be freed for producing crops. Bio-fuel crops are coming in trend as the transport and fertilizer costs are very steep.
